Sub menu fullwidth

Hello, I am trying to get the “All Departments” vertical drop menu to display a fullwidth sub menu.

I’ve created a 3 column sub menu in the mega menu plugin and assigned it to one of the menu items in the drop down, then selected “fullwidth” but it doesn’t full the top. Is this a feature only for horizontal menus? Because it seems to work fine that way.

Maybe I need to make it a single column and fit all content?
